Access
Pathways Program
The Program provides eligible jobseekers who
experience barriers to entering skilled employment with nationally
recognised pre-vocational training, support and
assistance.
The Program is an approved full time work
experience activity and fully meets the activity test for Youth
Allowance.
The Access Program includes a minimum of 150
hours of pre-vocational training that is:
Training runs for a minimum of 20 hours each
week Monday to Wednesday from 9am - 4.30pm at our On Track Offices,
12 Hall Street, Eaglehawk.
The pre-vocational training component of the
Program may include work experience.
Job Search
Support
On Track provides individualised job search
assistance for up to 13 weeks.
Post-placement
Support
On Track provides post-placement support for a
period of up to 13, 20, or 26 weeks depending on what category
participants fall into. Call On Track for more

To be eligible for the Access Program a
participant must meet at least one criterion in each of the
following categories:
Category 1: Residency
- an Australian
citizen, or holder of a permanent Australian Visa, or hold a New
Zealand passport and been here for 6
months
Category 2:
Registration
- be a
registered job seeker
- Be
referred by a Youth Connections provider or a Community Development
Employment Project officer
- be
eligible for Youth Allowance
Category 3: Personal
Circumstances
- left school
prior to the completion of Year 12
- an ‘at
risk’ Year 12 school leaver
- been
registered with Centrelink or a Job Services Australia provider for
3 months
- have a
disability
- be a
sole parent or guardian receiving parenting
payment
- be
referred to the program after undertaking
LLN
- aged
between 15 - 64 years at commencement of pre-vocational
training
