Not all members of the community can afford to buy a computer 

ReVamp Computers is an enterprise developed by FEO to meet this community need by rebuilding computers for purchase for an affordable price by non-profit organisations and low income earners.

Five key elements allow ReVamp Compuers to meet this need.

1    Donations of unwanted computers from businesses, organisations and individuals.

2    A licence from Microsoft providing endorsement and approval to install their software.

3    Volunteers who are either experienced or have an interest in the computer industry.

4    IT expertise in the Project Officer.

5    Infrastructure and governance provided by FEO.

Income generated from this enterprise creates employment for the Project Officer as well as covers all other expenses. As the enterprise grows, hours will increase and eventually more employment places will be created.

Volunteers who support this enterprise are highly valued. ReVamp Computers aims to build the technical skills of volunteers. It is also a 'stepping stone' to employment.
